On April 21, the opening day of the 19th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT 2025), the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA) held the release ceremony for the 2024 survey results of Top 10 Independent Innovation Products and Top 10 Product Quality Products. Forging ahead on the path of innovation through sustained R&D investment and unremitting efforts, ACHTECK Tools received the "Top 10 Independent Innovation Products 2024" award from the CMTBA for its AT202 and AT210A cermet inserts.



With the growth of industries such as new energy vehicles, precision electronics and medical devices, surface finishing accounts for an increasingly large share of metal component manufacturing. Thanks to their outstanding high-temperature hardness, chemical stability, resistance to high-temperature plastic deformation and low friction coefficient against iron-based metals, Ti(C,N)-based cermet enable high-speed precision cutting of high-end equipment components.

In response to the industry’s demand for precision machining, ACHTECK Tools has successfully launched two innovative products with independent intellectual property rights: the Ti(C,N)-based cermet tool grade AT202 and the coated cermet grade AT210A.The AT202 adopts precision control technology for core-rim hard phases. By forming a uniform and dense hard phase-binder phase composite structure, it achieves synergistic improvement in both wear resistance and impact resistance.The AT210A creatively applies the concepts of functionally graded material design and interface strengthening, combined with nano-multilayer composite coating technology. It has realized the industrialization of China’s first graded-structure Ti(C,N)-based coated cermet tool, filling the domestic technical gap in this field.Verified by industry applications, the products deliver unique performance strengths. Under high linear-speed machining conditions, they significantly boost machining efficiency and improve the surface quality of workpieces in precision machining of key components for general machinery, precision electronics and new energy sectors.
